Wholegreen Bakery 

We’re kicking things off with one of our absolute favourites, Wholegreen Bakery. Here, you can have it all: croissants, gluten-free sourdough, artisanal pies, French tarts, dark chocolate and beetroot cake…. The list goes on (and on and on). 

And the most exciting part? All of their heavenly goodies are entirely gluten-free, so you can waltz right in and devour the entire menu, knowing every buttery bite is suited to your  gluten-free dietary needs.

If you’re feeling extra indulgent, why not try (and fall in love with) their Valrhona Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart, or for a sweet buzz, their Coconut and Espresso Eclair. 

Wondering if gluten-free baking can ever really match up? Well, the proof is in the Gold Award. In 2019 and then again in 2021, Wholegreen Bakery won gold in Sydney’s Fine Food Awards, beating our glutenous neighbours with their epic lemon meringue tart and chocolate eclair. Sebastien Sans Gluten 

Sebastien Sans Gluten is one big love story. Sébastien’s fondness for baking began in Paris in the late 90s and blossomed into buttery adventures across Europe, where he worked as a traditional pastry chef in small boutiques and larger hospitality venues. Whilst baking in chilly London, he fell in love with an Aussie, which, luckily for us, brought him to Sydney. 

Fast forward to today, Sébastien’s passion for baking has taken on a new challenge, embracing all things gluten-free. At Sébastien Sans Gluten, he blends traditional, savoir-faire methods with science to bring you creations that are just as good, if not better, than traditionally glutenous treats. 

Located amidst the buzz of Leichhardt, Sébastien Sans Gluten is dedicated to satisfying the appetites of those with coeliac disease and gluten-free dietary needs, offering a divine selection of artisanal French delights, all completely free from gluten. 

Like Foodini, Sébastien believes that everyone should enjoy the pleasure of indulging in their favourite foods, so he created Sébastien Sans Gluten where everyone can do just that! Nip in and treat yourself to their Paris-Brest, a gorgeous French dessert crafted with 100% gluten-free pastry and praline cream. 

So there you have it – our very own French patisserie, entirely gluten-free and entirely divine, right on our doorstep.

Nutie

Got a sweet tooth? We certainly do. That’s why Nutie has a definite place on our list . 

It’s here to satisfy all of our cravings with a drool-worthy selection of cakes, bars, donuts, tarts and brownies, all just waiting to be devoured. 

Sounds good? It gets better. Each and every baked delight is 100% gluten-free and with Nutie’s regular check-ins with their suppliers, you can be sure that all ingredients are entirely free from gluten and other wheat derivatives. 

Nutie began its adventures in 2016, selling limited batches of artisan gluten-free donuts at Bondi’s local Farmers Market. Needless to say, they were a BIG hit. All of their donuts are baked, not fried (wave goodbye to nasty oils!) and naturally free from gluten. You do-nut want to miss out on these!

And If peanuts are a go for you, Nutie’s Snickers Cream Pie and Reese’s Pieces Pie are a must-try.
